Definitions
"Agreement": Refers to this Services Agreement, which contains the complete terms and conditions which govern the purchase of all website development services/products provided by BTmedia.
"Service Provider": Means BTMedia.
"Client": Means the person/organisation/business/company who purchased our Services.
"Services": Refers to all website development services/products provided by the Service Provider.
The following terms and conditions apply to Services provided by the Service Provider.

Acceptance
If a Client purchases a Service from the Service Provider., then the Client will be deemed to have satisfied themselves as to the terms applying and have accepted these terms and conditions in full. It is not necessary for the Client to have signed an acceptance of these terms and conditions for them to apply.

Charges
Development work on a Client's website will only begin after the first 50% of the agreed fees has been made.
The remaining 50% of the agreed fees will have to be paid before the completed website (defined here as the version that includes only the initial list of action items) is launched on the Client's chosen domain name.
If it appears that additional charges will be incurred during production (eg. Client wants specific stock image/video), then the Service Provider will first check with the Client over email, get the Client's approval to purchase said item and bill the Client for said item.

Timeline
The Service Provider will endeavour to complete the Client's website within the estimated number of weeks as per the type of Service purchased. This will depend on the speed of content provided by the Client, as well as the Client's decision to accept the final version of the website.

Copyright
The Client retains the copyright to data, files and graphic logos provided by the Client, and grants the Service Provider the rights to publish and use such material on the Service Provider's own website, as part of the portfolio of work done.
The Client must obtain permission and rights to use any information or files that are copyrighted by a third party.
The Client is further responsible for granting the Service Provider permission and rights for use of the same and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Service Provider from any and all claims resulting from the Client's negligence or inability to obtain proper copyright permissions. Evidence of permissions and authorities may be requested.

Domain Name and Hosting
The Service Provider does not provide domain name and hosting. The Client will purchase their own domain name and hosting plan, with recommendations from the Service Provider, if required.

Cancellation
Should the Client decide to cancel the Services with the Service Provider after work has begun, no refunds will be given.
